Each and every day, we hear stories from people living with challenging health conditions about the negative stigma associated with the disease. Stigmatization and prejudice are often based on two factors: ignorance and impersonalization or “facelessness.” Ignorance often leads to fear, which is expressed as prejudice. Understandably, any stigmatization causes many people living to remain silent. However, we’ve all heard the old adage and have certainly experienced its truth at some point: “The squeaky wheel gets the grease.”

Advocates are vital component in the fight against any disease The efforts and voices of many people are needed to make strides for those whose lives are affected by any challenging health conditions. There are many different levels of involvement. Get Involved with Caring Ambassadors today.

How You Can Help

You can help the Caring Ambassadors  Program to continue serving the community. As a public charity, we rely on your help and support to continue providing services to people living with challenging health conditions  and their loved ones. Many different opportunities are available at all levels of involvement. We rely on you, your friends, family, and coworkers to help the Caring Ambassadors Program continue our work.
